The 2021 RAM 1500 TRX was named MotorTrend’s Truck of the Year with a SUPERCHARGED 6.2L HEMI V8 engine which generates 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque for a 0-60 MPH time of 4.5 seconds. The engine boasts Best-in-Class horsepower and torque, the All-new Ram 1500 TRX is by far the quickest, fastest and most powerful truck in the world. The twin-screw supercharger provides near-instantaneous torque, has a maximum speed of 14,600 rpm, and can regulate boost pressure up to an astounding 11.6 psi. It’s the new benchmark for extreme performance pickup trucks. Only 702 models were made, which coincidentally matches the horsepower of the TRX! Ram reserved the first 1500 TRX Launch Edition with the VIN ending in 001 for a charity sale that took place at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, in March 2021. The final price paid for the truck was $410,000 USD, with all the proceeds going to benefit the United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline which provides services to veterans and their families.

The mother of all Easter Eggs can be found under the airbox cover, you will see a T-REX with a Raptor in its mouth. The 702-hp hellcat-powered RAM 1500 TRX isn't technically supposed to refer to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but RAM has sort of embraced it to stir the pot against the Ford F-150 Raptor.

Some notable interior features include:
A suite of customizable Performance and Off-Road Pages, designed to help tailor vehicle performance to your exact driving needs, are integrated within the massive 12-inch touchscreen. Launch Control: TRX is the first Ram truck to be equipped with Launch Control, with Launch Assist, which regulates engine RPM and monitors wheel slip feedback to achieve the fastest possible acceleration rate. Dashboard: Monitor instantaneous horsepower readings, steering angle measurements, personal records and more—all in a customizable dashboard. Dyno/Engine: Measure your peak horsepower, torque and boost pressure on any run with an integrated dynamometer. Then compare it to previous records.

Vehicle Dynamics: When off-road, use the Vehicle Dynamics page to dial in the optimal steering angle, lock your rear axle and modulate your transfer case gearing. Heads Up Display (HUD) Serves as a virtual cockpit projecting on array of customizable information on the windshield, including: incoming calls, speed limit and navigation Digital Rearview Mirror, The Digital Rearview Mirror, which replaces a traditional reflective rearview mirror with a 9.2-inch wide LCD monitor, displays real-time video from a rear-facing camera. Since traditional rearview mirrors often do little for seeing what's behind the truck. Typically, you can see the vehicle’s interior and the happy faces of passengers or cargo through a normal mirror. Since the camera is located on the back of the truck, the view is unobstructed. It acts kind of like a backup camera, but you don't have to be in reverse to activate the view and it's a higher resolution camera. Some may find driving with the Digital Rearview Mirror activated distracting and almost nauseating, while others absolutely love it. It might be something that just takes getting used to. Luckily, for those who don't want the rearview mirror activated, there's an easy solution—when turned off, it acts as a traditional reflective mirror.
