The Ram 1500 Lineup: What's New for 2023?

The New Year is on the Horizon which means it's only a matter of time until the brand-new 2023 Ram 1500s start hitting our lot. But you may be asking yourself how exactly the 2023 Ram lineup differs from 2022? We're laying out all the minor and major modifications Ram has made to their trucks for the forthcoming year.

The Ram 1500 is returning for the 2023 model year as the no-compromise benchmark for durability, technology, efficiency, performance, and convenience in the full-size pickup truck segment. Although not much has changed with regard to the styling of the 2023 models, the trucks will see an abundance of new tech.

To start, the 2023 light-duty and heavy-duty Ram 1500 lineups will receive a number of upgrades along with the introduction of a redesigned special edition model. All trim levels will also feature a Rear-Seat Reminder Alert and an LED hitch lamp located in the tailgate handle.

However, the biggest change to the Ram 1500 models is the addition of a new 12.3-inch frameless digital gauge cluster that features almost two dozen different menus. The full-color screen can be displayed in digital or analog style and features five reconfigurable tiles to provide the driver with at-a-glance data, or quick and easy access to the most used information. Every 1500 Trim that gets the 12-inch Uconnect 5 system will also receive Stellantis' Emergency Vehicle Alert System, a useful feature for absentminded drivers who might not realize there's an emergency vehicle approaching.

The 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel now includes Selec-Speed control as standard equipment. Borrowed from existing Jeep and TRX technology, Selec-Speed control is effectively off-road cruise control.

Introducing the Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition

As a continuation of 2022's Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition, Ram is bringing the 2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition into the mix.

This package features a multifunction and locking tailgate, tailgate ajar warning, deployable bed step, four adjustable cargo tie-down hooks, a bed extender, and a cargo divider.

On the interior of this prestigious truck, you'll find a jeweled rotary shifter, a unique instrument cluster theme, premium leather bucket seats, heated and ventilated 12-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats, a suede headliner, a heated steering wheel, and a bright pedal kit.

The Return of the Ram 1500 Limited (RED) Edition

The Ram 1500 Ram (RED) Edition returns for 2023, available on the Limited Crew Cab configuration. It features a red RAM grille and red door badging.

The (RED) edition will now also feature a UV-C glove box light that's engaged through a button on the center console. Once engaged, the UV light will start a three-minute hygiene cycle that kills bacteria.
